3. The I-Proposition is qualified with terms such as maybe, many, most, few, can, could, often, generally, and sometimes rendering the response particular affirmative e.g.
  1. Most of the teachers may be good dancers= Some teachers are civil servants
  2. Many musicians may be good dancers= some musicians are good dancers.
  3. Generally, parents like teaching= Some parents are teachers
  4. Three students were present in class= Some students are in class/persons in class
  • Where few introduces a negative proposition, emphasis is on the affirmative e.g.
  1. Few Cameroonians are not poor persons=Some Cameroonians are poor persons again, words such as One, two, one quarter, a large number of, two third, a half= Some S is P e.g.

One out of ten girls is a virgin= some girls are virgins.
