CHAPTER 1 : THE U.P.C

HOW THE U.P.C STRUGGLY TO SURVICE SUCH HOSTILITY AND ARCHIEVE HIS OBJECTIVE BETWEEN 1948- 1956
  • The U.P.C establish branches in most part of southern Cameroon.
  • The U.P.C publish anti colonial newspaper and pamphlet which raise awareness against the French Colonist.
  • The U.P.C establish cordial relation in tribal organisation or pressure group although they are later bought by the French
  • The party educated the native in village and town on it program a political economic and social reform.
  • The U.P.C took part in the 1951 to 1952 election readers to win seat and fight from within unfortunately.
  • The U.P.C send petition to the UN and the trusteeship violation of un trusteeship
  • The U.P.C change from peace group violent and approach in order to increase pressure on the French to grant immediate independence.
