The control of diseases transmitted by mosquitoes can be done by;
- Destroying the mosquitoes with the use of insecticides
- Destroying the pathogens that cause the diseases, example: plasmodium which causes malaria
- Cover house windows with nets to prevent mosquitoes from entering into the house
- Sleep under mosquito nets
- Getting rid of stagnant water and bushes near the house
Economic importance of mosquitoes
- Mosquitoes transmits many diseases and make people sick
- Mosquitoes cause death
