DEBENTURES

These are loans given to the company by individuals company or other enterprises to raise without necessary increasing the number of shareholders. Debentures have a fix rate of interest which is paid on a fix date. It is a kind of lowed you which is expressed in a document setting the amount of involve that has benn borrow to the company.

           TYPES OF DEBENTURES

There are 04 types of debentures

Redeemable debenture : These are debentures which are payable on or before a fixed date while irredeemable debenture are those that do not have any fix date of payment. Debentures which are secured with a business assest are called mortage debenture while does that are not guarantee with the company fix assests are called neked debentures/floating debentures. In case of no payment the holders will go to the coat of law for redressed.

NOMINAL AND MARKED PRICE

The N° of fix value is a value printed on a share dividend paid according to the fix value.

The market values is the price at which the share is bought in the market. It can either be above or below its first value
