CHAPTER 2: LIBERTY

Forms of liberty

Generally there are 3 main forms of liberty which are;

  1. Political liberty

This is also known as constitutional liberty. It refers to the rights of a person to share or take part in the government of his country.

  1. Civil liberty

This is the rights and priviledges given by the states to her citizen.

For example;

  • The right to live
  • The right to work
  • The right to education
  • The right to justice
  1. Economic liberty

This is the right to work and earn good salaries.
