Labour involves two main actors.
- The employer
- The employees
In every countries there are two types of workers classified under two section.
- Public sector workers
There are workers employed by the state.
- Private sector workers
These include people who work for companies, firms, industries or private individuals or groups. The private sector recruits and manages the bulk of workers in an economy.
In Cameroon labour is regulated by the labour code. The labour code defines the rights and obligations of workers and their employers. The labour code doesn’t apply to state employees.
