Introduction
  1. DEFINITION AND MEANING OF RELATED TERMS

Conflict: it is generally accepted that conflict is an angry disagreement between people or groups. Such disagreement can lead to fighting and become very violent.

Aggression: if conflict is referred to as an angry disagreement, aggression is that feeling of anger that leads one to attack and fight the other person. When a person or an individual attacks another ethnic group or tribe and a country attacks another country, we describe them as being aggressive.

War: this is fighting between two or more groups or countries that involves the use of armed forces.

Peace: the most popular definition and meaning of peace is the absence of dissension, violence or war.

Armistice: this is a temporary cessation or suspension of hostilities for a specified period of time by mutual agreement of the warring parties.
