Multiplication of decimalsTo multiply any two decimals:
- Convert the decimals to fraction with the denominator as power of 10
- Multiply the numerators and denominators separately
- Express these products as a decimal
Example;
Find 0.248 x 0.0063
= 2481000×6310000=1562410000000
= 0.0015624
