Division of decimals

To divide two decimals:

Convert the decimals to fractions
Divide the first fraction by the second
Express the result as a decimal

Example; find 0.0036 ÷ 0.04

Solution

0.0036 ÷ 0.04

=3610000÷4100=3610000×1004=9100=0.09
