CONCENTRATION OF SOLUTIONS AND OSMOSIS
  1. Hypertonic Solution

This is a solution containing more soluble molecules and less solvent molecules compared to another solution. It is a more concentrated solution compared to another.

  1. Hypotonic Solution

This is a solution containing more solvent molecules and less solute molecules compared to another solution, it is a more dilute solution compared to another.

  1. Isotonic Solution

This is when two solutions are of equal concentrations. They have the same number of molecules of solute and the same number of molecules of water (solvent).
