  1. THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

The head of this department is the chief accountant he is expected to perform the following function

This department record all monetory transactions in all other department of the enterprise

Calculates wages, salaries and other benefits of  workers

Assemble records periodically to evaluate the state of the business periodically

Controlling cost generally to avoid all forms of waste

Keeps records of all in coming and out going invoices

Prepares cash budgets for the enterprise

Reveals value of assets and a rate at which they depreciating.
