ORAL LITERATURE: this is that type of literature which is spoken by word of, outh and passed on fro, one generation to another. for example: storytelling, songs, dance, proverbs, riddles
WRITTEN LITERATURE: this is that type of literature whose literary accounts are written down. This is an evolution from oral literature. It came about with the introduction of western education e.g.: Novels, Short stories, poems; Drama, Essay, journals etc.
