Lecon 1

Hardware refers to any part of computer that can be touched which may be in the form of electronic, mechanical or plastic parts e.g. keyboard, monitor, mouse etc these parts can be classified under the following : inputs is the act of sending data and instructions.

 

LECON I: INPUTS DEVICES

It refers to those part of the computer use for sending data and instruction into the computer e.g. keyboard, mouse.

II. MANUAL INPUT DEVICES

 

These are devices used by the operator manually or physically to transmit data into the computer.

Advantages of manual input devices

  • They are less expansive to buy
  • It is easy to refer and maintain manual input devices
  • They are good for small volume text

Disadvantages

  • It often result to health related problem
  • They are not very accurate and even result to mistake error
  • They are not very fast in transmitting information,
