Formation

It is formed by adding ‘ly’ or “ily” to adjectives

“Ly” is added to words not ending with “Y”, example: quiet-quietly, careful-carefully

“Ily” is added to words that end with “y”, example: lazy-lazily, busy-busily, hungry-hungrily
