Uses of adjectives

Comparative: It can be used to compare nouns. It is formed by adding “er” to short adjectives and “more” to long adjectives

Example: tall-taller, short-shorter, big-bigger, thin-thinner, beautiful-more beautiful, intelligent-more intelligent.

Superlative: It is used to compare more than two nouns. It is formed by adding “est” for short adjectives and “most” for long adjectives

Example: tall-tallest, short-shortest, beautiful-most beautiful
