Chapter 4: Countable and uncountable nouns

Obtaining permission

To obtain permission, we must combine: moral verb + subject + verb + question mark.

Example; can I go out? may I borrow your book? can I visit you? may she come with you?

Polite way of asking permissions is by adding please before.

Example: please, may I go out? Please, may I eat your bread?
