1. It is celebrated in church or a chapel by either a higher priest or a pastor
2. During this celebration, the bride and groom answer questions making vows with two rings
3. The ring symbols commitment, love, fidelity and unity till death separates them
4. They promise to love each other in times of riches, poverty, health, illness, joy, sorrow and hardship.
5. This is then followed by blessing and counseling based on passages from the bible
6. Reception, then conclude the marriage
