Climate change
Climate change is the process of heating up the earth causing a change of composition in the atmosphere. Increasing temperature does not only make our weather warmer, it makes it more extreme and unpredictable.
Causes of climate change
- Burning of fossil fuels (petroleum). It leads to the production of green house gases like CO2 that trap heat and make our environment hot. This is known as the green house effect.
- Farming; the rearing of cattles lead to the accumulation of methane (a green house gas)
- Deforestation
