The Organization of Sub-Division

A sub-division office is divided into:

  • General affairs bureau
  • The administrative, legal and political affairs bureau
  • The private secretariat
  • The local development support bureau
  1. Private Secretary

The private secretariat is headed by a private secretary.

Duties/functions of a private secretary

  • Takes care of confidential mails.
  • Reception, protocol and security of the divisional officer (DO).
  • Decoration and awards.
  • Managing relations with the media.
  • Any other duty is signed by the divisional officers (DO).
  1. The General Affairs

It is headed by a bureau head and he is responsible for:

  • Mails and record transmission.
  • He is also responsible for managing the personnel in the sub-division.
  • Responsible for maintenance of administrative buildings.
  • Preparing the budget of the sub-division.
  • Maintenance of communication and transportation.
  1. The Administrative, Legal and Political Affairs

It is controlled by the bureau head who;

  • Reproduces and spreads laws and regulations.
  • Verifies all documents submitted for signature.
  • Handle disputes, maintain order and security.
  • Protects public liberties and solve land matters.
  1. The Local Development Support Bureau

It is under the authority of the bureau head. It is responsible for:

  • Prepares economic reports
  • Monitors the activities of development, public health and hygiene.
  • Monitors the activities of youth and sport games and leisure.
  • Control business licenses.
  • It also issues price list.
