The governor’s office is divided into four organs;
- Private secretariat headed by a private secretary appointed by the governor.
- He registers and fills the mails and other documents.
- He is responsible for the smooth functioning of the governor’s office.
- He executes the governor’s private matters.
- The general secretary is called secretary general (SG) of the region.
- He is the most senior collaborator of the governor.
- The general secretariat is divided into 7 divisions.
- The financial affairs and logistics.
- The reception and liaison service.
- The documentation and translation services.
- The administration and legal affairs division.
- The division in charge of administrative organization.
- The division in charge of regional development.
- The Cabinet
It is lead by the chief of cabinet with the rank of a sub-prefect. The cabinet has three main services:
- Protocol
- Security
- Communication
- The protocol is responsible for:
- Organization of ceremonies.
- Decoration and awards.
- Maintaining relations with consular post where applicable.
- The security head is responsible for:
- The governor’s security.
- Issues relating with aims.
- The service head of communication is responsible for:
- Preserving the news papers and audiovisual information of the region.
- Promoting the image of the region.
- Analyzing press articles on issues concerning the region.
The general cabinet is in charge of handling problems such as:
- With political nature.
- Handling matters of protocol and awards of honors.
- Dealing with military authorities to maintain law and order.
- Organizing governor’s missions and trips.
- Ensuring the governor’s security.
