The governor’s office is divided into four organs;

  1. Private secretariat headed by a private secretary appointed by the governor.
  • He registers and fills the mails and other documents.
  • He is responsible for the smooth functioning of the governor’s office.
  • He executes the governor’s private matters.
  1. The general secretary is called secretary general (SG) of the region.
  • He is the most senior collaborator of the governor.
  • The general secretariat is divided into 7 divisions.
  1. The financial affairs and logistics.
  2. The reception and liaison service.
  3. The documentation and translation services.
  4. The administration and legal affairs division.
  5. The division in charge of administrative organization.
  6. The division in charge of regional development.
  1. The Cabinet

It is lead by the chief of cabinet with the rank of a sub-prefect. The cabinet has three main services:

  • Protocol
  • Security
  • Communication
  1. The protocol is responsible for:
  • Organization of ceremonies.
  • Decoration and awards.
  • Maintaining relations with consular post where applicable.
  1. The security head is responsible for:
  • The governor’s security.
  • Issues relating with aims.
  1. The service head of communication is responsible for:
  • Preserving the news papers and audiovisual information of the region.
  • Promoting the image of the region.
  • Analyzing press articles on issues concerning the region.

The general cabinet is in charge of handling problems such as:

  • With political nature.
  • Handling matters of protocol and awards of honors.
  • Dealing with military authorities to maintain law and order.
  • Organizing governor’s missions and trips.
  • Ensuring the governor’s security.
