CHAPTER 3 : AFRICAN REACTION TO COLONIALISM

Introduction

Africans reacted in various ways to European penetration, occupation; some Africans stayed submitted, some states which resisted some states which resisted included: West Africa (Yorubaland) those allied who collaborated with the British included: The Fante and the Asante.

            Those who resisted include; Ascente, Mandinka, Abyssina etc.
