What are operations of mind? These are basic activities of the mind which make us to move from the simplest to the most difficult, from what we hnow to what we do not hnow. There are three operations of the mind:
- Simple apprehension: it is the first and fundamental activity of the mind, which consist in the formation of ideas or concepts by the process of attention and thinking. E.g the idea of a car. Do you have an idea of how a car looks like?
- Judging: it, is when the mind compares two ideas, notices and points out their similarities and differences. At such pronouncing an agreement or disagreement. To third effect, the mind either affirms or negates i.e. accepting one and allowing the other. E.g. types of cars say a prado or a vox. You accept a vox and allow the prado. When you do this, you are judging.
- Inference (reasoning). This is a process by which from one or more given judgments, me derive another whose truth is implied in the former e.g.
All women are mothers
