C) CONVERSION TO NEAREST
  1. Tenth means to 1 d.p
  2. Hundredth means to 2 d.p
  3. Thousandth means to 3 d.p
  4. Ten means multiple of 10
  5. Hundred means multiple of 100
  6. Thousand means multiple of 1000.

Example:

  1. 3.825 to the nearest tenth is 3.8
  2. 265 to the nearest ten is 270
  3. 265 to the nearest hundred is 300
  4. 1249 to the nearest thousand is 1000
