KEY POLITICAL CONCEPT
  1. A STATE :                                                                                                                     A State can be defined as an organed community of people living in a given geographical entity and having a central government and soveignty. It is geographicaly determined with international recognized boundries. A state must have a Central government whose authority stretches all over the entire territory. The people share much in common such as;
  • Police force, law
  • Army for defence
  • A common Language
  • A constitution binning them

The Cameroon state has a triangular format that broad on in the south and narrow up in the North. There are many types of state that exist.

  • A unitary State
  • The Federal State
  • Confederal State

B) A NATION:

            A nation can be defined as a large community of people living in a particular Area and who are members of a political community or country. This people are assurable to one government and share the same culture, members of a particular nation live within the state where the government of that country is based as well as a diaspora.
