LOWERING THE FLAG
  • The national flag is lowered to end the day work or activities.
  • Then after the flag is gently and neatly faulded and the golden star facing up.
  • It is finaly taken to the office and carefully preserved in its resting place of sub-sequence use.

IMPORTANCE OF THE NATIONAL FLAG

  • It signifies the sovereignty of the country
  • It signifies the independence of the country
  • It signifies the authority of the state.

PROHIBITION OF THE FLAG

The national flag most not be used in the following places;

  • Should not be hoisted or displaced in private homes
  • Should not be hoisted when rain is falling.
  • Should never be used in decoration.
  • It should never be hoisted in the reversed direction.
