In herbivors the teeth are adopted in such a way that they can eat large quantities grass and there are two types of herbivores ruminant and non-ruminant. E.g of ruminant are ; sheep, cow, goats etc that feed on plant only
They have no incisors in the upper jaw this region has a thick honey pad while the lower jaw and the canine bite. This large gap between the front and the sheep teeth and this gap help separate freshly cut and unchew grass from grass that has been chewed.
The stomach is divide into 4 types namely non-ruminant e.g rabbit.
Non-ruminant lack canine completely and the stomach is not divided into compartment and digestion occurs in the caecum.
