CHAPTER 4 : EXCRETION

FUNCTIONS OF PART OF THE URINARY SYSTEM

Kidney:  It is an organ for excretion and osmoregulation. It produces urine

Renal Artery:  It carry oxygenated blood to the kidney

Renal Vein:  It carries deoxygenated blood away from the kidney

Ureter:  It carries urine from the kidney to the bladder.

Bladder:  It temporally stores urine

Urethra:  It carries urine from the bladder to the exterior. It also carries sperm cells to the exterior.

Sphinde muscle:  it regulate the passage of urine from the bladder to the exterior urination.
