The Large Intestine (Colon or rectum)

Faeces is pass into the rectum and is send out at interferes through the anus the large intestine contain no enzymes but bacteria in the colon that digest part of the fibers produces vitamins like Vitamin K, vitamin B12.
ASSIMILATION
This is the use of digested food by cell of the body most cells are avle to metabolism and absorb, glucose fat and amino acid. Excess glucose is converted by the hormone insulin, glucagon. Which is store in the liver and muscles. When the amount of glucose is low glycogine is converted back to glucose by the pancreas.
