1. L’ALPHABET ANGLAIS

L’alphabet anglais compte vingt-six (26) lettres soit cinq (5) voyelles et vingt et une (21) consonnes.

  • Les consonnes (consonants) : b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z.
  • Les voyelles (vowels) : a, e, i, o, u

 

NB : la lettre « y » en anglais n’est pas comprise comme une voyelle contrairement au français.

 

2. L’ALPHABET PHONETIQUE

 

L’alphabet phonétique est la présentation des différents sons d’une lettre. La transcription phonétique  d’une lettre s’écrit toujours entre deux barres (//)
