CONJUGAISON
LES VERBES REGULIERSLes verbes réguliers (regulars verbs) sont des verbes qui forment leur past simple et leur past participle avec « ed » à la fin du verbe à conjuguer.
Exception 1 : Dans le cas des verbes se terminant avec un « y » précédé par une consone, ceux-ci forment leur past simple et past participle avec la terminaison « ied » à la fin du verbe. Ex : to study = studied
Exception 2 : si le verbe régulier se termine par « y » et est précédé par une voyelle, le verbe prendra « ed » : Ex : to play – played
Exception 3 : si un verbe régulier à une seule syllabe se termine par une « consonne-voyelle-consonne », dans ce cas il faut avant tout doubler la consonne finale de l’infinitif avant d’ajouter « ed » pour obtenir son past simple et son past participle. Ex : to chat = chatted et to stop = stopped
