Definition of a decimal

A decimal number is any number written in base 10, ex: 1.25, 0.25, 0.75 are all decimal numbers. There are 10 basic numerals of numbers which include 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 which are combined to obtain other numbers, ex: 1 and 0 for 10, 2 and 1 for 21, etc…
