A universal set is a set which contains all other sets under a particular consideration. It is denoted by the symbol ε or U
A finite set is one which has an exact number of elements and whose cardinality can be obtained, ex: A = {a, b, c, d}, B = {1, 2, 3, 4, …, 19}
An infinite set is one which does not have an exact number of elements and whose cardinality cannot easily be obtained, ex: F = {a, d, b, r, …}, N = {0, 1, 2, 3, …}
