Union of setsDefinition
The union of 2 or more sets is the list of all the elements in the sets. It is denoted by ∪
. That is, for the set A and B to be in a union, A∪B.
Ex: If A = {1, 3, 5, 7} and B = {2, 4, 6}, find A∪B
Solution: A∪B = {1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7}
