Chap5: set theory

Equality of sets

2 or more sets are said to be equal if they have the same elements. That is, if set A has the same elements as set B, therefore A = B.

Ex:

If C = {a, b, c, d} and D = {b, a, c, d}, therefore C = D

If E = {2, 4, 6, 8} and F = {8, 2, 6, 4}, therefore E = F

If G = {x/x is an even number less than 5} and H = {2, 4}, therefore G = H
